Unable to Discover Nodes

Unable to Discover Nodes - General Troubleshooting Steps

DiscoverFail

In the event not a single node is discovered on an interface, verify the following:

  1. Ensure the configuration for the Interface on the Awetobot is correct
  2. Ensure the interface (the Awetobot is connected to) is tagged with the same VLAN ID as the Awetobot Interface configurations
  3. Do a quick accessibility test on whether any node on the network is reachable by doing an ICMP Ping or SSH test from the Debian interface in the Awetobot. PingandSSH

As long as the node is reachable from the Awetobot, these nodes will be Discovered during the Discovery Process

Unable to Discover Nodes - "The nodes you are attempting to discover is already on Awetonet.io"

DiscoverDenied

This is a feature which Awetonet.io has to prevent two(2) different Awetobots from issuing conflicting instructions to Nodes.

Suggested Resolution Steps:

  1. Where possible, advise original Site Owner to delete the prevailing site so that a new Discovery can be performed
  2. Click on "Contact Sales" to facilitate the Site Ownership transfer to the new Organisation. Note: Additional verification may be required
