Discovery

Automatic Discovery of Nodes for every interface​

Once the relevant VLAN interfaces (if any) have been added on the Awetobot, it is time to discover the network equipment/nodes.

  1. Click on Nodes on the main site navigation:

    Discover

  2. By default, once the Awetobot has been paired, Discovery will begin automatically on the Access/Internet interface. Discovery will also begin automatically for every new VLAN interface added.

    Discovery Duration

    Discovery duration depends on how big the subnet mask is. Typically, they should be around the following:

    /28: About 20-30 seconds

    /24: About 3-4 minutes

    /22: About 5-6 minutes

  3. Once discovery completes, the nodes discovered on the network of each interface will be displayed:

  1. Next, keying in the credentials to identify the Node Type
